Hello!
My name is Nupur.

I'm a UI/UX designer passionate about understanding what truly motivates people and creating solutions that feel natural to use. With my Master's in Human-Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, I tackle meaningful challenges through thoughtful design.

My path to UX began with a Master's in Applied Genetics, which might seem unrelated, but it taught me how to ask the right questions, analyze complex problems, and validate hypotheses. These skills now drive my approach to user research and design validation.

What truly sparked my passion for design was my experience as an Academic Manager, creating educational products for thousands of students across India. I quickly discovered that what seemed intuitive to me often wasn't for my users, and the most effective solutions came from genuinely listening to teachers and students rather than making assumptions.

Dance has always been my creative outlet and taught me that the most impactful experiences feel effortless, even when there's thoughtful complexity underneath.

I approach every project with curiosity about people's real challenges and needs. My background combining analytical thinking with creative problem-solving helps me bridge the gap between user insights and business objectives.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me painting, watching K-dramas, enjoying game nights with friends, taking dance classes, spending time with my cat Coco, or cleaning and organizing. There's something oddly satisfying about it!

My logo brings together the "learn" and "create" symbols (or glyphs, if you will) to form the letter "N" for Nupur – and honestly, these two concepts have been the driving force behind every role and chapter of my life.

I've always been someone who learns first, then builds. Whether I was diving into a new field, picking up a different skill, or tackling an unfamiliar challenge, my approach has stayed the same: absorb everything, then put it to work creating something meaningful.

What I love most is that learning never really ends. Each project teaches me something new, every conversation adds a fresh perspective, and every mistake becomes fuel for better ideas. That constant cycle of discovery keeps creativity alive – there's always another angle to explore, another way to solve a problem.

This mindset naturally led me to UX design, where understanding users and crafting solutions go hand in hand. But really, it's just how I've always approached life: stay curious, keep building, and look forward to what comes next.
